MOT Testing
We are a licensed Class 4 MOT testing station and can test both petrol and diesel vehicles. We always charge the government advised price for our MOTs (currently £50.35) but this pays for our testers' time and experience so we have no reason to find faults with your vehicle or charge over the odds for unnecessary repairs. The MOT can be done up to 30 days before it is due, so feel free to book early without losing any time on your certificate. So long as we do the repairs on site, we will not charge for any retest.

Servicing
Unless you prefer otherwise, we follow the manufacturers' scheduled services with genuine or same quality parts. Coming to Collison Motoring Services for routine maintenance or repair will not invalidate your vehicle's warrenty, and we will ensure that you get the best possible service for your vehicle at its age, mileage, and usage. As the exact nature of the work and parts can vary greatly from one service to the next, please do contact us for a quote, letting us know your vehicle details and mileage (and whether/when the cambelt has been changed). Then book your vehicle in for a service with our fully accredited technicians. We can collect your car from any local address, and will treat it with every courtesy from its collection or arrival until, road tested, washed and vacuumed we return it to you or have it ready for your collection.
Tyres
We can provide all makes and sizes of tyres and our price includes wheel balance and a new valve. We have the latest four wheel alignment equipment and tracking capabilities.
Batteries
We don't replace your battery before we have tested to ensure that a replacement is necessary. Then we fit the best, fully guaranteed battery for less money than the fast-fits.
Exhausts
Fitted FOC and guaranteed by leading suppliers.
Brakes
We offer a full report on the state of your brake pads, discs, shoes and drums including the digital wear measurement of these components and efficiency tests. Where appropriate we are able to skim worn discs to avoid expensive replacement, or we can replace any braking component with fully guaranteed original specification parts.

Free check and quality parts used.
Engine Diagnostics
Bosch Service Centre with equipment and training for most makes and models.
Mechanical Repairs
For all car components, engine, gearbox, etc. To understand more about the way different parts of your vehicle work, and what we may need to do to repair or maintain them, please look at the How Stuff Works website. However, we will happily explain any processes which we need to undertake for you. Just ask.

CITB certified technicians, with a dedicated air conditioning bay for checks, re-gassing and repairs.
